Lessons and Sessions

We offer lessons and sessions at Intro 2 Skate Headquarters in Huntington Beach, CA 6 days a week. Book online to reserve your spot.

“Would a group or private lesson be better for me?”

Private lessons are usually the best way to start, more time for attention to detail at your own pace. From there it depends on your preference and learning style. Private lessons are better to move at your own pace, group lessons are a little faster paced since we try to get everyone’s turns in, they’re great if you’re pushed and motivated by skating with others at a similar skill level.

  • 55 minute one on one lesson with an instructor of your choice. From first time on a board up to advanced tricks, the instructor will see where you’re at and work on your goals. All instructors are experience with kids at beginner and Intermediate levels. Adults, and advanced kids, inquire for instructor recommendations.

  • Semi Private Lessons consist of who you bring with you, siblings or friends. One person books the spot and makes a note for the other joining. The others can check in at the front desk to be registered for the lesson.

  • 2 hours of structured lessons.  Ages 5-15. Skaters are placed in groups according to age, skill level and friendships, rotating zones every half hour. Groups of 5 per instructor, can sometimes be 6 if needed to have kids with appropriate skill level.

  • These are the same format as the 2 hour group sessions with an extra hour. There is a 20 minute skate break and free skate in the middle. Bring water bottle and snacks if they will want to eat on their break. We also have a snack shop on site.

  • Open Skate: Every Tuesday and Friday 6-9pm. We may add sessions on rainy days.

  • We host 2 adult classes a month. Adults can also book private lessons at any time during the week.

    -Adult Clinic: one Monday a month 7-9pm, $35

    -Ladies Session: Every third Wednesday 6-8pm, $25

  • Saturdays and Sundays.

    This includes 2 instructors, around 10 kids, for more kids, you can add instructors at the rates below.

    Usual schedule is an hour of group lessons, some time to eat food or snacks, then skating with light instruction or games.

    - $400 for 2 hours, $500 for 3 hours

    -Additional Instructors $70 for 2 hours, $90 for 3 hours

    -1st hour of structured lessons and 2nd/3rd hour choice of lessons or open skate with light instruction

    -Around 15 sets of loaner equipment

    -$100 deposit

    -Waivers will need to be signed by all parents, they can sign them online

    -no alcohol on site

    -you are welcome to bring your own food/drinks

  • Open skate with an instructor supervising and helping with some tricks. for kids ages 7-15 that are able to skate independently. can be booked right after a camp or on it’s own.

  • We also host some afterschool classes at a few schools in Orange County. We bring ramps to the school and host classes by the semester. Contact us if you’re interested in us coming to your school.
